Very trendy spot! Cute outdoor seating and good food for reasonable prices. Their breakfast burrito is good!

I googled "breakfast diners in Burbank" and the it was between here and Red Maple Cafe for my 25th birthday breakfast yesterday and I made the right choice! Cheesy but I had a gut feeling to choose this place. Right when you enter, you order at the cashier and then they give you a number where they will walk the food to your table once it's ready. If you order pastries, they give it to you at the register. We ordered 3 (forgot to take a pic before devouring) so she offered if we wanted it in a to-go box or on plates which the box was perfect. If you are a newbie like us, there's physical menus you can read to the side while others order if you don't know what you want. There's seating outside on wooden benches or inside on tables with chairs or a cozy section with couches. I have been craving pancakes and these pancakes with butter and fruit hit the spot with syrup. My mom got the spicy waffle chicken sandwich and it wasn't that spicy which she liked so if you have a high tolerance for spice, you might want to add spicy sauce. It comes with syrup and we ordered ranch as well. The breakfast burrito (eggs, bacon, hash browns, cheese, tomato salsa) was HEAVEN. The tomato salsa is a nice refreshing touch. Dipped in ranch and ketchup was even more amazing. Pastries were pretty good! Nothing too spectacular but the cinnamon bun was the standout. Would try new ones next time. The service is nice and kinda quick. Depends if you know what you're ordering and how many items. They did forget to charge our coffee but they don't make you wait the line and charge you on a different register for fast service. Overall, the food is delicious, the environment is calming, and on a Friday morning at around 9:30am, there was a line but then it died down. A nice gem I discovered in Burbank. When it comes to trying new food and especially if it's a special occasion, the prices aren't a focus but this meal was in the $60-$70 range for those curious. Parking is not the best; depends what time you arrive. We got the last available space but there's street neighborhood parking around.

WE LOVE BASECAMP! This has quickly become our favorite weekend spot - they have amazing drinks & food (their Horchata Latte & Dirty Chai is awesome...also had their veggie omelette and Lavender waffles ) They have plenty of shaded outdoor seating, the staff is kind and you never have to wait long! PLUS it's located in the Rancho Equestrian Neighborhood so chances are you'll see people ride by on horses while you sip your coffee! Definitely put this place at the top of your list

Basecamp is a cute neighborhood brunch spot. There's BBQ offered from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. but since I stopped by in the morning hours, I wasn't able to try it out. I shared a breakfast croissant sandwich with my wife and it was just ok. The croissant was soggy and a bit dense from the collapsed layers of pastry dough, but the bacon egg omelette inside was light and fluffy. For my beverage, I got their house coffee, which came piping hot and brewed strongly. My wife's horchata latte with warm foam floated on top was not too sweet and had plenty of horchata flavor. In addition to sharing the breakfast sandwich, I also ordered a cinnamon roll. Unlike your typical cinnamon roll, this one felt like a cross between a croissant (or a Kouign-amann) and a cinnamon roll. The crust on the outside of the cinnamon roll is super flakey, unlike the croissant I had. There's a lot of frosting on top, so if you don't have a sweet tooth, it will definitely be on the sweet side. I would definitely stop by again to try some of their other entree, like their chilaquiles and BBQ.

Cute roadside diner type of place. Great breakfast food and drinks. Slightly limited seating during meal times. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would come back again.

Found parking in their lot luckily but next time I might automatically park on the street. Super nostalgic in that campy kitsch kind of way. I loved the welcoming feeling the space gave off. Staff was friendly and helpful as we created a line deciding who would pay. Self seating inside and out. I ordered a steak salad and it tasted significantly better than it looked. Meat was seasoned well. My gf loved her veggie burger so much she showed me the pretty colors of the patty and the fries- they were all eaten. Definitely would come back again.

Good food, friendly service, indoor and outdoor seating. Free parking in the lot or street (just read the street signs). Loved their orange peel latte and their skillet breakfast!

This place is honestly great. They have great food variety, especially since you can order anything from coffee/light breakfast items to bbq (they have a place with a smoker attached to their lot). The service is as good as it can get for a place like this. I've tried a majority of their salads and have also tried their burritos, and barbecue. The pricing is decent as well. The coffee and latte's they offer are alright and is available throughout the times that they are open unlike some of their menu items. I believe they offer a breakfast menu, lunch menu, and so on. Their location is great; it offers limited parking but it's not their fault they have so many people trying to park! They offer indoor and outdoor seating and when I tell you it's great.. like you won't find a lot of quaint places like this that offer THIS much seating. I'm usually able to find a spot to just relax and study, so it's pretty cool. I recommend stopping by. They're great.

How am I just finding out about this place? I have been living and doing business in this area for so many years and never heard of this place until I was visiting a client across the street from this dinette. I parked right in front of it and of course I had to go in and check it out. I ordered a cold brew with milk and loved it. Also got myself the last chocolate croissant which was absolutely delicious. I was told they usually have a lot of freshly baked goods but they sell them pretty fast. I guess I walked in late. They have a variety of breakfast items, sandwiches, salads etc. I was not hungry to eat at the time I was here but I made a mental note to come back and try their food soon. Everything sounded and looked good when I looked around in peoples plates. lol Lots of outdoor seating, cute decor and great customer service. I can't wait to come back.../

Interesting find here at 'Basecamp Dinette,' Burbank, CA., this past week, but it's not my usual type of place to get any writing done because the indoor lighting was too dark. I was trying to get into the writing mood, but that failed to work due to the dimming lights this coffee shop displayed the night I visited them. Perhaps if I tried another visit during the day, that would work, but the overall ambiance just wasn't quite the right fit for me. I also had a bit of trouble finding the actual door to the cafe since there were two sides of this business. It wasn't quite clear which side was actually open for business, so I thought they could have posted, 'This way please?' I went to the trailer Side at first, but no one was there at all!!!! Nevertheless, I love how they post restroom reads!!!! Those quotes I took pics from were painted on their bathroom wall. I thought that was extremely creative from this cafe to share with their customers.... I got a drink to go....I think it was hazelnut latte, but I couldn't get a great taste of the hazelnut too well either. Cashier was courteous enough to switch me from 'for here' mug to a 'to go cup,' because I decided to go back to Pricilla's for getting some work done. Thanks for being in Burbank, CA though. I'll pass on this venue. Just ain't for me.
